JJ & Melissa Alderman
Togo, West Africa
|
|
JJ first moved to Togo when
he was six years old. His father is a church planting
bush pilot and his mother is a nurse. He was educated in
English, but could speak fluent French by the time he
was eight. He quickly became acclimated to the Togolese
culture and lifestyle. When he left Togo to attend
college in the United States, his desire was to one day
return to impact the Togolese people for the cause of
Christ. Melissa grew up with a strong Christian heritage
and was already well traveled when they met in college.
She expressed the desire to pursue world missions before
they traveled to Togo on their first of two trips
together. They are excited to spend their life in the
place God has called them. |
