Our Missionaries

The Stanfords currently live in the city of Joetsu, Japan. It is located on the western shore of the main Japanese island on the Japan Sea. Russ is working on his language studies and they attend the Joetsu Bible Baptist Church. The church was just recently started by another American missionary and a Japanese pastor. Russ preaches and teaches some using an interpreter, and the whole Stanford family is involved in distributing gospel literature. Attending and serving in this established church is giving them hands on experience for future church planting in Japan
